Interracial relationships maintain open-mindedness

Interracial relationships are one of the most beautiful things that come with being a part of America. Melanin and natural curls mixed with paleness and freckled skin creates a masterpiece of a human.

One of the most important aspects of a society is to have a variety of races. I am a firm believer that love is color blind. When you love someone, you see past their skin complexion because a person is more than that.

Interracial relationships haven’t always been popular, which is why I hope they continue to grow in the future. If our society wasn’t as integrated, the only color that we would see is in coloring books and on our clothes.

When I see an interracial couple, my heart smiles at knowing that the close-mindedness that has dominated American minds for years is decreasing.

The only thing better than interracial couples is interracial marriages. Creating humans that don’t identify with just one race is one of the most unique inventions. When you’re just one race, you don’t get to experience the cultural aspects of different races firsthand.

Interracial relationships can help bring out the faults that a person never knew  about. People tend to grow up adapted to the ideas they were taught from the people around them. More than likely, those people are the same color as them, so their beliefs and values are similar.

Just because a person is raised to think a certain way doesn’t mean that way is best. Becoming a part of a society that is extremely different or even just a little different to your normal life can affect your outlook on things in a positive way.

It is important to get multiple points of views on life. The best way to do that is to integrate not only our ideas but humans themselves.

People in interracial relationships or marriages have a variety of skin tones in their friend groups. I know that some of those friends would’ve never thought about networking outside of their race if it wasn’t for that one interracial relationship that caused them to do so.

Outside of interracial couples being a great idea overall, it has closed the doors of a hateful part of our society. People in the early 1900’s would be beaten or locked away for expressing interest in someone outside of their race.

There are some people who attempt to unlock those doors of hatred but get shut away by the positivity of integration.

I think that interracial couples will continue to expand in the future of America. White people will continue to realize that black people have the best food at cookouts, and black people will someday realize that white people are the only ones who show up to their cookouts on time to eat the food.

When it comes to interracial couples, it is always better to stand out than to blend in.
